A workshop where Maori and Pasifika students use a scientific approach and their own cultural perspectives to research a current scientific real-world problem: what can be done about antimicrobial resistance?

Students across all New Zealand are extracting chemicals from their local mānuka trees, which work as natural weedkillers and antibacterials, and then looking at how these chemicals vary between mānuka trees growing in different parts of New Zealand.
