Mana Aotūroa reaches out into the community to encourage and inspire young children in bilingual education units across the wider Auckland region to have a better engagement with and understanding of natural science and technology.

Building on New Zealand’s strong connection to and passion for Antarctic exploration and conservation to inspire young New Zealanders, engage their families, and demonstrate the influence of Antarctica on climate and sea-levels.

Schools and community groups work with scientists to plan and implement ground-breaking new research into locating and restoring īnanga (whitebait) spawning areas in five regions throughout New Zealand.
