Participatory Science Platform
This project looks to combine traditional Polynesian wayfinding knowledge with high-tech light and movement sensors in order to investigate how wave shadows were used for navigation.
Consisting mainly of students with Māori and Pasifika heritage, the group is excited to learn more about the genius of their ancestors. This project combines knowledge of wayfinding with inspiring and strengthening the Hauora of young people, while hooking into powerful new tech.
